Welcome

Welcome to the Xilinx Open Source Wiki site. The goal of this site is to provide better collaboration for the Open Source work that is being done in Xilinx. Xilinx provides a Git server to help with open source development and collaboration, but there is limited documentation on the Git server.

Our goal at Xilinx is to push more of our code into the Linux kernel mainline, but that will take time. The goals of this site are to document Xilinx uniqueness with Linux and U-boot rather than to tutorialize them in areas already documented on other web sites and in books. If you are a Linux newbie, we expect you to do your homework prior to this and get other reference material.

All content on this site is considered AS IS and is not supported by technical support of Xilinx. Users are encouraged to use the open source mailing lists for the Linux kernel and u-boot.

This site works best with Firefox browser and may not work as well with other major browsers. After all, this is a Linux Wiki, would you expect anything less.
